Distributor replacement

All right, so the FSM I have has a noticeable void of information when it comes to the ignition system. I need to replace the distributor and have so far gotten information from this nice resource :http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=161707It seems like I would just line it up, unbolt & remove the existing distributor, and put the new one in and set the time with a light to 20 degrees BTDC. Am I over simplifying this?

make sure its on tdc before do all that
