Display is on after exiting vehicle??

I have just acquired a new 2014 Nissan Rogue SV. I have noticed that after the vehicle is turned off and I exit the vehicle that a display light as shown stays on for approximately 2 minutes. Is this correct I haven't found anything in the manual.

If you change the settings for the Light Off Delay, does the dash display use the same timing?
