This weekend I got to experience being on a small plane for the first time and to be in the air for the very first time.

A friend of mine took me up in his plane and got to experience something really cool and now want to get a pilot license of my own. Here are some pictures I took of San Diego.

Dude those are some nice pics. I would double think about getting my pilots license since I've seen all the reports in the near past about small air craft accidents. SIHT's CRAZY .

It was amazing to get a different view of SD and the time of day we went up was really good.

It is actually not that many accidents if you have all equipment working and have working radios. Just have to keep the plane well maintenance like a car. Also keep a sharp eye for any other planes in a distance to avoid and usually if there is a control tower within the city they will tell you of all planes near by and to look out for which we were told to do a few times.

When we were going through the checklist before take off, he told me to make sure everything is working, fuel is good, and when you do the first take off land back after to see if you are really good to go. I was also told if anything does happen we would just become a nice glider lol and find a spot to land.

I am still debating on the pilot license of course it wont be until I finish school and see how things goes from there. Have to make sure I can buy my own plane and maintain one.

Oh yea, San Diego is much nicer when you are actually up there. It was a small plane so I couldn't really use my friend zoom lens he had and I was enjoying the view more then taking pictures.

The other cool thing was flying through the mountain area and seeing this huge lake there.

Seeing the sun was awesome too and got a few cool pictures of that.

Woah, you were flying higher than the Southwest plane. Awesome.

Did you do a fly over of the wild animal park?
