Are there different types of 4x114.3 Bolt patterns? Because I got some rims that say they are multi bolt pattern (4x100 or 4x114.3), but i tried to put them on my 4 lug s14 and they would not fit!! I also tried to put them on my girlfriends accord that is a 4x114.3 pattern and they also wouldn't fit her car!!

So you're positive that the 2 sets of holes are 4x100 and 4x114? There are other 4-lug bolt patterns that may be on a wheel sold as "universal."

Theres also the infamous 4x108. (filthy Focus) Those damn Europeans trying to be different. But those are about the only 3 4x bolt patterns that are common to me.Somewhere on the backside of the wheel the bolt patterns should be etched into the casting.

Maybe they were 4x100/4x108 and not 4x100/4x114...?

Could the center spot be too small, the hub, or whatever?

No the info on the spec sheet on the inner side of the rim said 4x100 and 4x114.3! and it even gave the serial number to match the rims

If you wanted to make sure, there's a lug spacing checker thing on ebay that you can get for like 3 dollars. I think lug pattern checker is the name of it. I bought one after I got screwed over on a set of meshies on ebay last year ( damn 4x110).

Did the wheel not go over the hub? You know the hole in the middle of the wheel did it go all the way on.

you did check both sets of holes i hope correct?

also you dont even need to buy any fancy lug pattern measurment tools, just use a regular old ruler
