Hi, I am just beating around the bush on this one. I have a nissan hardbody that i just dropped a ka24e into. I have the truck engine it as we speak. For what I have I have seen that you can swap the intakes off of the 240sx . Im speaking of the ECCS intake instead of the pickup intake that has the throttle body set on top. Ok now after looking around I havent been able to find out what the difference is between the 240 and pickup Ka-e. I heard that the cams are different . The Pickup has a milder cam.. If this is true can I swap out the cam with a 240sx'''s with out a problem? I also heard of the 240's haveing higher compression than the pickup? Now I was not looking to go swaping out pistons and boring right at the moment but since I am already working with the sx intake would a cam be that much of a help? Well the big question here is Whats the big difference between the two? thanks and i hope someone can feel me in.

I get all my high comp pistons from the trucks. All the truck(sohc) blocks I have seen have(somewhat)flat top pistons. all the 240 blocks that I have seen have a crank girdle and starter boss cast onto the block. the trucks dont have the boss or the girdle. there are pan and oil pickup tube differences too.
