I have a 93Q with TCS, and have a line on a 94+ driveshaft.

If you are looking at a driveshaft out of the car, what are the visual cues that distinguish a TCS d/s from a non-TCS d/s?

Is it possible to use a 94+ non-TCS d/s in a 93 w/ TCS? I presume it's o.k. to use a 94+ TCS d/s in my 93, but I guess I should ask about that as well.

Thanks in advance.

The ABS sensor is on the drivshaft for non-TCS cars, hence 3 channels.

The TCS cars have sensors at the hubs, hence they are 4 channel.

No definitely not. It was just included on a lot more cars.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was back there somewhere.

So is the flange different?

So to reiterate, you're saying the difference is in the differential, not the drive-shaft, therefore TCS and Non-TCS driveshafts are the same?

I wish I had all my parts in one place so I could take a picture to illustrate it.

TCS diff's have 2 sensors on the OUTPUT SHAFTS.

NON TCS diffs have 1 sensor on the INPUT shaft... Hence the 3 channel ABS vs 4 channel ABS/TCS...

The actual flanges are the same as far as the driveshaft bolting to them.

I took a TCS driveshaft from my old Q and put it on my non TCS current Q and no problems.
