As for a box you should look at a T56. "Corporal" Cristian Pickering was running one in the CTS Drift car for years and i believe the same trans is used in Vipers so it should be able to handle to torque you'll be putting out.

Some more pics of gear..

Although pulled apart for checking the OS Giken twin plate...

Thirsty buggers these - 1000cc Sards...

To give an idea of the scope of some of the relibility factors I have taken into consideration

This is all fuel delivery hardware..

This is the cooling hardware + pcv and catch tank hardware..

Although it doesnt look like a great deal, I have no need for 1/2 of the turbo water lines, I have redesigned the system to suit..

These are the various sized braided hose...

These are the 3/8" alum lines and another braided hose size...

This is the powersteering and brake lines + fittings (except the two das 12 tee flares, thats for the cooling)...

And this is our dog... no real modification necessary, although it would be better if he didnt snore..

Countdown is two weeks until assembly...

if what i'm seeing in those pictures is correct. it looks like 2 walbro pumps will be suppling the fuel.

this build looks sick, what are you aiming for numbers?

heheh the puppy is huge, but he still thinks he is a pup even tho he is seven.... he is very obedient too lol on command he will sit, lie down, follow, wait, shakes both paws and I taught him how to give a hi 5 (although my wife taught him the majority of skills he now has lol) ...

The walbro pump itself is only for the feed into the surge tank (not pictured as it hasnt arrived yet), the pumps you see there are both bosch 044 externals...

The calculated numbers are, well, fairly substantial... but this build is not just about the power factor, there were a number of required outcomes as part of the project scope..

Love seeing people spend substantial amounts of time and money on an older engine, and following through with dreams making them a reality.

whats the estimated paper figure man, spill the beans already??!

When I researched the goal vs requirement, I looked at a number of different combinations and the cost for each with there pros and cons..

This build hasn't cost the earth so to speak, as one example, I worked out the cost of converting to a 2.3lt stroked SR20, this build has cost approx 1/2 of that and on paper will net more crank hp (torque is a different story)...

I am uncertain if I want to divulge the calculated power output as it will undoubtedly vary when its done and dusted, but my goal was not just for power alone...

No one would believe me if I spill the beans...

im guessing the same thing...and maybe a secondary tank up above to the pumps need not worry of not catching fuel...

damn...those fittings...i needs em

People are being persistent to find out more and more information, oh well I guess it is pretty close to being assembled and tuned, so may as well spill some more beans..

The on paper calculated output of this build is approx 725 crank hp @ 28psi of compressor flow.. (Based on calculations with CA valves, not the RB)

Either way, the dyno and strip times will be a better indication..

This motor has been engineered to overcome certain obstacles, if you catch my drift...

I'd love a photo when you get a chance, I'm just finishing the windage tray for my CA, then I've got to work on the pick-up, baffles and trapdoors, then I'll knock up a scraper. Just made a custom sump and so I'm a little paranoid as I'd rather not detonate a motor because of oil control problems.

I don't expect to have any issues making the scraper but its still nice to see someone elses work first regardless.

I wont be taking a photo of the scraper on its own as such, rather with the assembled block...

I am curious, how does oil control problems relate to detonation?

Or

Do you mean you would rather not run the risk of destroying a motor due to oil control problems...

Yes, sorry, detonation in the sense of pieces of conrod littering the road, not in the sense of pre-ignition.
