I got mad at my fiance and threw my engagement ring on him.Unfortunately it dell down in the vents infront of the windshield.

Has anyone any idea of how we can get it out..I have been crying alla day long and my boyfriend want to buy me a new ring..but it is not the same..

I want my ring back....I an sooo mad at myself right now..if only i could turn back time..

I am totally devastated...is it possible to try to find it ourselves?

Thank for any kind of help..
It's definately possible to find it. What model car is it? If it's a Maxima you can follow the instructions given in this thread and probably find it.

This post has most of the info that you need.

Side note: Why do women throw their ring back at the man that gave it to them? That display of anger should be saved for when you are ready for divorce, or if he cheats on you. Throwing a ring back at someone is like throwing your heart/love back at them.

None the less, I'll be more than willing to help out. Ashvin is now the NICO dashboard expert, I'll email him and ask him for his input.

The car is a Volkswagen Golf..don't know if that helps or if it just makes it harder..

To answer the question Why do women throw thier ring on the husband...I'am afraid that I don't have any good answer..

I feel like a huge ***...and that this is my punishment for being so f***ing stupid..

If I get my ring back I'll will never ever take it off again..

I really appreciate all your help...

Thx..

Start by removing the dashboard to get access to the vents. I have no idea how a VW is put together, and I don't have the FSM's for them, but maybe someone here will have some knowledge. I'll spread the word.
