I recommend Everything Infiniti in Scottsdale, tell them you're a NICO member!

I'll check them out, thanks for recommendation.

I busted out the old service manual and read the part about replacing the timing belt. Hopefully I don't jinx myself here, but it seems much more simple than the Toyota timing chain.
I also found the service record. It says the timing belt part used was: 13028-16E85, which doesn't match the part I found online.

On another interesting note, in 1997 the whole timing belt repair was 4 hours of labor at $65 an hour, plus parts. (Water pump was charged to Nissan) Out the dealership door for $410... Those were the days!

Manufacturer Part Number:
1302816E85
Brand:
NISSAN\INFINITI
Superseded From: 1302816E10

then I found this:
Part No. 13028-16E85
Part Description BELT-TIMING
Replaced By A3028-16E85

you might want to check with your Infiniti dealer if A3028-16E85 is the longer lasting Kevlar belt made for 105K miles, I dont think it is
