So i was hangin out with my friends and one of the girls was leaving and as she was backing out of the driveway, she turned the wheel and backed up into my left front quarter panel. theres a pretty nice dent in it and the bottom part where the wheel-well is, is bent out.

pictures as soon as i wake up.

buuut, does anyone know where i can get a new quarter panel for the left front drivers side?

here are the pictures...

got the estimate from my auto body....988.36 total.276 for the qtr panel and the rest is for labor and painting.

i already got the check from my friend mom and its goin into the shop monday.

i was reading the reciept, i didnt know the auto body can give back the old wrecked parts......i had an accident a few months ago, someone backed up into my front end, and i could have kept my old fascia!!! is it worth keepin the qtr panel...maybe someone would buy it?????

is there any other damage besides just the fender? if not then that sounds like a rip off. i had my whole front fascia painted and the guy had to patch holes in the grill from cutting out the bars for $150 and the fascia is much bigger then the fender. if it's just taking off the old fender and painting and installing a new one then that should be $100 tops (plus the price of the part). if it's just the fender, it should be no more then $300 and even then $300 might be a lot.

body shopes are a rip off, unless you know someone...a local body shope wanted 800 bucks to fix my front bumper to repair tha holes drilled into it for the front LP. They told me they had to remove, and repaint the whole front fascia, becasue it would never match correctly if they just plugged the holes and painted it there.

AND, that is ONE shiny dent! That sucks, glad your friend (mom) paid up like they should. but wow, a grand almost...yeah, body shops are a rip

They are ripping you off. The labor and painting doesn't cost that much!

Thats a massive ripoff... Even if its someone elses money, you could get a pulley for free if you go somewhere else!

Do you know of any places that will cost a lot less? in the NY, NJ area?
