There is another thread out there about how to do it, but as I was told when I asked about a month ago............Dental Floss.

I recommend UnDu (which would allow you to re-use your badges if you wanted and were careful)

I had technical difficulties with dental floss. (I'm apparently not compatible with using that stuff outside of my mouth)

I had no problem using the scraper that comes with the UnDu, but someone else on here dented their car by using it... Take your time.

Usually in the scrapbook section... It can be a beach to find, but it slicks the adhesive so works faster (and more efficiently IMHO) than goo gone.

gheesh... scary man. Should have used a plastic scraper or something. But hey, no harm no foul I guess.

Let me ask you... with the emblems off, do you think they could be easilly painted or smoked out and re-mounted? I was thinking of darkening mine up a little, but I don't know if it'll be easy to re-install or if I should just buy new ones from the dealership.

They can be re-installed if you can get the sticky stuff thats left on the lettering, but i tried that and it was hard lol and I couldnt find any kind of scraper so I had to settle with the razor

Hey, I remounted the set on my first Camel... Used Elmer's craft spray and the dealer couldn't remove them... Somewhere my first Camel is still driving around with the word "VERSA" under the handle... muah hahahahaha!!

Or buy 3M automotive double-sided tape. It comes in 1/4" but is a little hard to find... the last time i needed it, it had a red backing.

Kimber - I know its off topic, but I just noticed you added the quote to your sig about that lane departure feature. I was waiting for someone to say something about that... when I read it, I couldn't stop laughing! I seriously copied that word for word from the survey.

Although, I guess if you think about it, sometimes merging into an object next to you is better than hitting something stopped in front of you. Maybe thats what they're trying to say?!?

or maybe they just worded it REALLY badly... I'm sorry... I'm against DRLs... why would I want my car to break for me?? I almost snarfed when I read that line... I had to add it!!

Yes, I would rather sideswipe someone than crash into someone else's bum... especially if there's an unsecured child in the back seat (unfortunately common around here...)

I twisted one of the VERSA letters and it almost twisted off easily and it was around 30 degrees out. I'll use the Goo-Gone and a plastic scraper. I don't have the S to deal with. Leaving the lettering on looks like a pain to wax around.

I dont reccoment goo gone, it gives off a wierd smell lol

And if it sits on the car too long, it kinda seems like it start to eat into the clear coat slowly so careful.

I used denatured alcohol to remove mine. It was scary because i thought it would remove the paint but it worked awesome. I use it to get tree sap off of my car too.
