I dont know whos 510 that is with the vg30dett in it, but when i imagine a clean 510 with som nice modifications done witha professional flare, this is what i have in mind when i open a hood. nice and clean. I love to dream about the ultimate powerhouse in a lil car but there is a limit to when the poor car can not show the owners compulsiveness in a sweet way. very well done to who ever did this install and nice fab work by the way.

This thread is silly.

If you can get an RB for $2300, then you need to get 10 of them, sell them here, and profit handsomely.

Bottom line: The project you're talking about is a 5-figure investment, EVEN if you do all the work yourself.

If you've got a resume of prior builds, I'll gladly STFU and yield to this RB26 nonsense talk. Until then, it's a pipe dream.

I wonder if GRM has the article they did on Pete Brock's car online...

has a small block chevy in it pushed back about 18 inches so it's better balanced.

No, an RB26 fits in a tube-chassis with some 510 bodywork around it.

Let's be realistic.

And the OP said "people have done rb 510 all the time", which we both know isn't the case.

We're not here to crush dreams, but we're also not here to entertain someone's lunatic ramblings.

true that..

honestly, the added weight up front and the power would make for an unruly car anyway...for a boosted option, it's hard to beat a CA or SR in one.
