In between the speedometer and the RPM is a rectangular LCD screen with mpg and odometer. The digital display does not seem to be of the quality you would expect in 2012.

It's a simple screen. Personally I hate it being red and being red is possibly what makes it look fuzzy (in the '08-09 models at least).
