I use the a$$hair of a pregnant cambodian immigrant to dust my dashboard. It's like magic.

Wow, Cali gets all the cool stuff first. Maybe I can get something like that online.

Meguiars makes a boatload of stuff for the interior that you can choose from. I use a static duster for quick wipes since the smallest spec shows up like a lighthouse on a dark shoreline on a black dash.

^^^He speaks the truth. Armor All is the suxorz. Leaves your dash all shiny and greasy. If you don't want to pay the Meguiars prices I'm sure you can get something from Black Magic or Mothers that isn't as expensive.

Steer clear of Armor All.

I prefer the nice dusty old look. It helps weight down the car more increasing its center of gravit E.

Thats a myth.

I just use a wet microfiber cloth. I don't like the shiny look. I do have some kind of spray from Meguiars but I haven't tried it yet.

+1 on the Meguiars. That stuff leaves it looking good, without that nasty greasy look. That greasy stuff really attracts more dust after you use it.

now for the armorall... are you guys speaking from experience? i have used armor all interior and exterior products for, i dunno, 7-8 years now. Never had an issue. Not one time. Currently been using it on my tires as well because its cheaper than the others. Never ever had a problem. My tires look great and perform great all the time.

I have talked to a few people, and it seems that Armor inhibits cracking of the dash. It wont happen over night, but it does dry out your dash. That I know from experience.

Slightly damp microfiber for dusting (objective opinion based on a number of factors including dust/lint/ease of use/longevity of the cloth)Clean dry microfiber for polishing/buffing(same as above)

Waxing "best" is subjective. Find a manufacturer you like and try the products until you find the one that works for YOU.

I love NXT but I also think 3M finisher is a kickass polish. Ease of use, durability, applicability (where can you use it), cost, supply, etc. all play a role in your decision. Old guys like me will tell you they've used everything on the shelves of the autoparts store and just about everything else off the shelves and probably have one or two favorites. Comes down to what you think is the best because beyond the science and the trials, your eyes are going to show you something a little different than someone elses.

armoral is a wax based prduct, the damage that occours is the loss of natural oils, the best treatment is to keep it out of the sun

Wipe the dust off with a damp microfiber cloth.

I wouldn't use Armor All. If you have some money to spare, get some Meguiars products instead.

I've used armoral since I have been driving.....so 9+ years now. Never a problem. I was using it on my old Z, which was 21 years old when I had it, worked great. No cracks or anything like that.

I actually tried some of the meguiars stuff and couldn't stand it. I like there leather treatment for my seats, but don't like their dash stuff at all.
