Deadly! Looks awesome man!!! Anybody else want a cover? I will post pics of the remaining covers I have tonight. And as I have said before, one offs are always welcome.

Oscar, I'm not gonna lie i didnt think the coilpacks so close was gonna look that good but the pics have me second guessing my coil decision:)

Sold the swiss cheese cover today a friend in the local area. Check it out he has a 94 skyline awd. Pretty nice car....we also installed a thermostat switch and relay for his electric fans. turned out pretty nice. Also turns out rb20 has 2 holes that are not the same as the rb25. I made a new template and I am glad I found this out now, first hand instead of sending one out to someone who lives a long way from me!

you can also see we mounted the stock ignitor on the cover. thanks again.

Well turns out louver's in aluminum is a pain in my a**. Not mater what I do the aluminum splits at the corners. I even tried to aneal the aluminum half way, it helped but still split. So here is an example of what I can do with the aluminum. The dimple dies and bead and step rolls work really good. I can also cut slots or drill holes with no problems. here is one I whipped up tonight.

it is super light too!

and here is a little sample piece of aluminum beside a steel louvered one.

thanks again all

Oh sorry i missed that, it thought the swiss cheese was ti.

Damn, louvered aluminum is what i was wanting. What alloy are you using? Perhaps using a softer alloy would help, or anneal it even more? Bummer.

Yeah I am going to do some more research, likely a different alloy of aluminum. I have seen aluminum panels louvered before so I know it can be done.

I made the most expensive cover yet! haha. Jimefam wanted a louvered aluminum cover but i was having a hard time with the louvers wanting to split on the corners. What he really wanted was ti but I had no luck with that earlier so that wasn't an option. After screwing up like 3 aluminum covers and my last piece of ti I went shopping. I found a small piece of ti that was a little but thinner than the first sheet I got. Long story short here is Jimefam's titanium louvered and dimpled under the ignitor cover! It turned out pretty awesome.

I would love a louvered one! One like above, but without the the ingnitor spot, and same amount of louvers +1. Could you do that, and for an RB20? I remember you saying something about the Rb20 having two differnent bolt holes.

I got your PM but since my account is brand new I can't reply. I have a RB26 and don't want the whole coil cover just the garnish that goes on top. Where it would say Skyline GTR on the R34s or Nissan Twin Cam on the 32/33. I would just need a blank one to go there.
Here's a pic of the first one I posted a pic of installed

Not sure how this might look. But I was thinking of this style (see pics) with the old shcool "nismo" down the center. Or maybe even the newer "nismo" writing. I'm trying to think how that would look or if it would look rice. Or possibly just copying the stock little name plate but replacing the "nissan" with "nismo". Dunno. What do you guys think? Just throwing ideas.

EDIT* or maybe even " nismo power" kind of like an old tomei one or something. I think it might look pretty neat.

I forgot I made that one...One of the prettier ones if your not worried about heat on the coil packs like in my case.

The one above was made in titanium i think.

*edit*

Let me know the size of the piece you need and I can cut one up quick.....Like I said I cant engrave though so essentially all you would be getting is a flat piece of aluminum.....Might be cheaper to get one cut locally by the time I ship it from Canada.
