the old one is the one that has been flow tested. these are an improvement on those with more air flow directed to the runners. yet to be tested but from experience i can quite comfortable say it will be an improvement on the other ones.

i also had that phone. had a problem in the first tow weeks with the joystick and then ended sending it back for a few other issues and they said that was enough and gave me a new nokia for nothing.

considering this guy is one of the most renowned ca18 tuners in the land his comments are highly regarded.

couple of points of interest- he advised me before the tune, the expected peak was 205rwkw it made 215rwkw- without a tune the car would lite up the rears in third under acceleration only, no help from the clutch- this is the most responsive ca18 the tuner has ever driven...which would indicate a very strong torque curve

this tune was only about half an hour on the dyno, there is plenty left in it when he gets more time...too busy entering in drifting comps so it is good for now

Not sure if this has been asked but are there clearance issues for those of us with RHD? I worry about hitting the master cylinder.

no. there aren't any clearance problems. if you check the thread he posted that has the dyno charts, you can see there are pictures of the engine bay and the car is rhd.

Exactly right. Since i am in Oz (all our cars are rhd) this is what the design is based on and there no prob's with lhd.

You have them on the shelf or do you need build time? I am seriously thinking about one of these as my build keeps getting more and more serious the stock manifold is looking to be on the outs.

Any plans on making a KA manifold that would be better for boosting that the stock manifold? I myself as well as a few others would be interested...

more than happy to. if someone could send over a spare inlet, i will do some flow testing and them some drawings and calculations and see what i can come up with. i may do 1-2 test ones, and from there i will be able to get a final one made up.

I don't have any interest in a KA manifold, but I've got a couple of spare manifolds I'd just let you have if you pay shipping.

They are a 2 part manifold VERY similar to the S13 SR.
