PRICE DROP

these are now $AU800, approx $US600, delivered to your door.

I have a few spare inlets on the way so exchange is not necessary.

would you reccomend your manifold for stock to moderately modded cars? cause my car isn't too crazy but i'm wondering what i should expect from the manifold if i buy one. a lot of loss down low? gain in mid and upper range? and so on.

i could tell you you will gain everywhere but i am not like that. gains very depending on setup, but a moderate increase i torque and hp can be expected.

ps microtech plug in for ca18 is retail $1320 i sell for $1175 + delivery.

WHERE does it increase HP and torque? I've contemplated one of these manifolds, but with my using the car for autoX I can't afford any losses in the low to mid-range.

torque will increase from down low and increase in hp can be seen from mid-hi range with no significant loss in low-mid hp. depending on setup these can help reduce lag also, more evident with the t3 and larger size turbos because with anything smaller lag shouldnt be an issue.

i wouldnt get to carried away with comparing old dyno run of UK car with the new one as the low-mid loss can be put down to a larger turbo setup.

you need to post a dyno of the new one VS a stock one swapped between the same w/ car same mods on it when its dynoed, same boost etc, thats the only way you going to prove it does anything and where power increases and where it looses power..

If you're intrested, I would be willing to do a before and after for you. I wouldn't be purchasing one, but you would basically loan it to me, I would do all of the work of swapping manifolds and paying for the dyno time, and after we had the dyno's done, and I got my stock manifold back on, I would ship it back to you. Since you're in austrailia, it may be easier/cheaper to find someone locally, but if not, I'm willing to spend the time and money for you. Shoot me an email if you're instrested.

just wanted to post that i received my plenum, and it looks fantastic (i had it polished before he sent it to me too, i think it was $650 total)

and it has nipples on the underside, 4 for normal vac lines, and one big one for the brake booster.

theres short trumpets inside the plenum, all i need is the thread pitch so i can get bolts for the q45 maf.

(until i figure out exactly how i want to do the GSXR ITBs)

BTW, this is going on teh CA20DET, not on my ca18, so i wont have any kind of feedback on how it works or anything until the new engine is built

+1 for good seller, good communication

CJ

eidt>BTW, i dont remember, and i packed the plenum away. Are there threads for a throttle cable bracket? or how deep should threads go for that (or do i need to weld on a bracket for that?)

I'm still very much intrested, but I'm waiting on some sort of dyno comparison before and after, I hope with a smaller (like T2 or T3) series turbo.

As I said before I really need to see how it effects the powerband.

u have dyno cpmarisons but only for a car making 400+rwhp.

i do have a local customer that had a stock ca, apart from 3" exh, in a datto and a friend of his has the identical setup, andthe one with my plenum has a massive amount of mid ranbge torque and top end power compared to the stockish one.

seat of the pants feel tells him 20-30hp more, a difference in such a low powered car.

how much did you say it would be for a polished plenum with ITBs? (and if i supply the ITBs) to fit onto the normal runners? (so that the ITB unit is removable from the plenum itself either a flange or silicone couplers with t-bolts are cool) for cleaning and a dummy 90mm TB (just a flange to connect IC piping with a silicone coupler)

something like $800? or was it around $1k?

I'm going to be part of the Swedish group buy and I just want to know if a TB from a KA24E from a 240sx would work for around 400 bhp? The flanges and bolt holes should be the same as the stock CA TB.What TB's are people running? I don't really fancy buying a new one for 400$.. a used one for around 100 would be better for my wallet

hi Deji - depending on the internal diameter of the KA24 tb, but if it is anything smaller than 60mm i would considering upgrading to a rb25de tb which from memory are approx 60-65mm. still retains the standard sensor.

i can make a flange to suit whichever throttle body you decide to put on. all i would need is the bolt pattern and internal diameter.
