well finally the day has come, i made the jump to have the first US carbon hood, first cube with hood dampers and now the first cube with a big brake kit and who else better for that than ROTORA i deliver the cube wednesday and friday they called me and say my cube was ready but i had to pick it up today due to my working schedulethe first and most important note i have to bring up is that the bracket wasnt the same of for versa,s they had to tweak with it a little bit to make the cube own,s bracket, the rest was easy for them, being sucha huge brake kit my wheels didnt clear them so they had to put small spacers (my wheels are +38) quiet braking and quik on the pedal it feels a million times better, not sure if they will clear 17" wheels, my 18" seem like they barely give space for the calipers

like i told you before by the time i drop the cube they already order my kit, i took to long trying to decide if i wanted just slotted or drilled and slotted, i think i made a good decision leaving them just slotted for a couple reazons

no.1 : my xb brake kit haves drilled and slotted and truly...they are noisy when i brake, even at slow speed i can hear them and they create much more brake dust so much more to clean of my wheels

no.2 : simply is just not a race or track car is a small tiny nissan cube with a nice rotora big brake kit

the braking on the cube is superb and as quiet as you never remove the oem,s PLUS the best is that the rotora brake kit is bigger BUT lighter than the oem

Are your 18s lighter than the OEM wheels as well?

If so, that would be a substantial weight savings.

Did they redo the rear brakes too? Or are they still drums?

only the front ones are done, the rear still drums, i been telling my wife i may steal the rear part of the versa car so i can turn it into rotor brakes also, then after that create a rear rotora brake kit, it may take a while for this one, this kind of project will mean a lot chesse but i have the idea lurking on my brain
