Car: Nissan 300zx n/a 2+0 5 speed sliver

I have a 1990 300zx n/a 2+0 and my cruse never sets. if i turn in the cruise the light will light up and than if i press the set butten it will light up for a second that it is on but then goes off unless if i keep holding it down. but either way the car does work on cruise control. any regards? Scott

My guess would be that the cruise control relay needs replacing if you have one (I am a Q guy so I am not 100% on the 300ZX).

Its either the relay or control unit.
