CRAZY IDLE.....HELP!!!

Ok so the car had a P0507 code if I remember right. It's about the idle being too high....so I took off the throttle body and cleaned it with throttle body cleaner. The battery was disconnected before I took it off. After being reinstalled the car rev's by itself from about 1-2000. The vacuum hoses seem good so I have no idea what the problem could be. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Check the IACV.

the IACV is built into the side of the throttle body....I searched online and I think I might just have to do the idle re-learning process...wish me luck!

Ok well it turned out to be a bad IACV like you said nissangirl but that meant replacing the whole throttle body...luckily there was a salvage yard that had the part :woot: redid the re-learning process and it's good to go....good thing too because it was a friends car that I was working on
