Get hit by a drunk woman, that doesnt even hit the brakes from a 60 mph impact. U could be 30 feet behind the car in front of you and the impact still would have pushed you into the car in front of you.Ilvemynissan wrote:If your such a great driver why, when you got rear-ended, did you hit the car in front of you? Too close maybe? I am always at least 15 feet from the car in front of me until about 5 cars get behind me that are stopped, that way if someone rear ends me i don't crash the front of my car.
In jersey it would be your fault...jeff420 wrote:
you need to stfu. im sure the op doesnt need you doggin on them. rear end accidents happen. ive had someone in an infiniti q45 pull out in front of me and come to a dead stop while i was doin 40 in my 03 dakota. i had like 2 seconds to react. guess what happened, q45 got totalled. did i rearend him? yes, his trunk dissapeared. was it my fault? no.
Dude you're a chode... Please shut up.blacksrjdm wrote:

I don't why you guys want to defend him, when you rear end someone you're too close and can't react, go to any training class and they will tell you 3-sec rule, if you're at speed it can be even worst. Image if he was driving a semi and he said I didn't see her. When you're driving you better be paying attention. And before you go there, we're not talking about racing on a track going 180+. So if you're telling this guy to STFU then you must be a tail gating speeder yourself. Don't make excuses for him, oh too bad about the car, buy a rhd front clip and call it a day.jr_ss wrote:Dude you're a chode... Please shut up.
OP, sorry about your accident, **** does happen and atleast you are ok, but unfortunately your car is not salvagable..
Sure I drive aggressively, but that doesn't mean I tailgate... You'd be a liar and a hypocrit to say that you haven't driven over the speed limit or followed to close at one time in your life. I don't know whether the kid was tailgating or not and I'm not making excuses for him. I was simply telling him to shut up about rubbing it into the dudes face. He's already wrecked his car, he doesn't need to hear it from someone on the forum, he made a mistake, he knows that and has paid for it. Get off your horse...Kaleo55 wrote:

Yeah, like B said...BrianHarte wrote:jr ss - You make the HUGE mistake that a lot of people do. You are trying to "call out" Kaleo for being a hypocrite.Did he EVER say that he never drove too fast or tailgated?
No, he didn't.
It is VERY poor to come back in an argument and say something like that. If you want to have a good argument, you need to pay attention to what is being said. Don't put words in other people's mouths.
LMAO @ "just puttin that out there" Good Stuff hahamychalous wrote:Well, if you decide to part out I may need some items.....just putting that out there
Thanks for a little support, I thought I might be the only half decent driver in here...Glad to hear someone else has a clue.Kaleo55 wrote:

Hey you know I wasn't trying to bag on the OP, I was more PO'ed at other posters that were like "oh you poor thing". I've been rear ended twice and each time it was by persons that were NOT paying attention and each time I saw it coming in my rear view mirror. And yeah I know what it means to have the car you worked on and spent money on get Ef'ed up by a tailgater. If you rear ended me now I'd probably have to kill you... JK.blacksrjdm wrote:

BTW: You used to bring that s14 out to the IKEA meets didnt you? I have the red widebody s13, came out there a few times last summer. I love your car, very clean.
That I feel sorry for. The other driver is the idiot in that situation. Very sorry to hear.geaziS14 wrote:yeah i just crashed my 95 240....someone ran a stop sign and bashed my right front end... it might be totaled...
I sure hate it for you. BTW all those feeling so bad for the lady i hit. She went to jail. and had really no damage to her Granada (like you could have seen the new damage)geaziS14 wrote:yeah i just crashed my 95 240....someone ran a stop sign and bashed my right front end... it might be totaled...
BH- I wasn't trying to call Kaleo out for anything, although I will agree it seems like it. I was simply stating that everyone has, at some point in their life, driven over the speed limit or followed closer than should... And frankly, I don't care what your opinion is...BrianHarte wrote:jr ss - You make the HUGE mistake that a lot of people do.
