Ok, so as we all know...my coupe is toast. My homeboys started tearing into her yesterday, and the goal is a running car by this weekend.

BUT, at the moment, the only non parts store replaceable part is a Power Steering Pump. I would like to go as cheap as possible, so a RWD JDM CA one is a little pricey. I was wondering if anyone had a lead on a SOHC KA24E one. If so, let me know. I will keep this thread updated if we find more that is shot.

A few updates as well:The new:...and the old:

Well, it is easier to have another car haha. It was free and no custom work needed.

Say you need a PS pump? I have a RWD CA18DET one that I have no use for in my FWD Pulsar... Not 100% sure what condition it's in internally, but it's the one that came with my motor set. If interested, shoot me an email ( jamie[dot]mazikowski[at]gmail[dot]com )!

I think I still have the PS pump from my sohc KA, took it out when I swapped in my CA. I'm in Fort Worth so you wouldn't have to worry about shipping or anything.

Oh well...life goes on.

And the MAF is good. The HKS SuperMega Flow filter is not though. And my ARC interchiller is a little worse for wear. BUT they found out my new chassis has a 25mm adjustible front bar! That will be a nice addition to my K's rear bar.

They are trying the DOHC one today, but I will keep you updated.

The front suspension and brakes is on and the motor is in. They still have to hook everything up, do the rear suspension and brakes and the interior. It's coming along!

man, if that was my car, i would have taken the whole front end off right at the firewall, and put a tubular front on it. Lightweight, STRONGER and very easy to do. Good luck tho

If i was overseeing this, was not in need of a car NOW, and had something else to drive everyday...possibly. That is a little too radiacal for a daily driver. But a 1/2 chassis is something I plan to do to it one day...
