That is a pretty good deal. If it was a TT LS swap, I'd buy it.

If it was a TT LS swap it would probably be on the market for 4x that.

Yep, only swaps I'd consider are Nissan to Nissan, RB or VK if it could be fit under the hood which seems to not be possible...yet. I'm not against the 2JZ swaps as it's a good motor and similar in size/etc., but wouldn't do it myself.

Not sure if I posted this....86K, RHD TT 2+2 for $9K. Pretty good deal I'd say if the maintenance has been done and this is what you are looking for:

I can't stand ads where someones picture has a fn foot in it. I wouldn't buy that car solely off of their terrible photography skills.

And a cat's tail in the wheel pic. I bet the dude thought his photo skills were the bomb considering the mural shot... :wtf2:

Nice car! Seller, not so much. In fact, he sounds like someone who should be curb-stomped just because.

Maybe...but then again, maybe not as these types of salespeople (ALL CAPS) generally are the type of person you just keep on moving instead of wasting time with their BS. That type cares nothing of opinion or things said to/about them.

OMFG...I wouldn't even consider it for a parts car in that incredibly wasted condition. IF they pay ME to take it maybe, but then you gotta store it and fix it... :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

Make damn sure you black-out the license plate; otherwise, someone might steal it.

Thoughts on this. seems decent

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto ... 96394.html
Decent price for the mileage, and the interior looks OK other than the boomer sub and oddball shifter knob.
My concerns always get raised when guys say "Not all modded out like so many" then detail the mods to the car...what do they think a mod is?
Also, as a '91 you get the early style injectors hassle unless it's been done previously, and there's always 120K service looming unless it's been done...but then again if done, he'd most likely have advertised that.
Probably worth a visit though, and has potential if the owner will negotiate any needs such as 120K and injectors and those brakes he did mention.

SUPER-clean TT here, a few concerns such as if 120K was done and old style injectors/etc., but probably still a good deal at less than $10K:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ctd/ ... 47622.html

Also pretty damn clean, plus a jspec bumper. A little misalignment in the center front panel hints it may have had an oopsie and unless a younger person is the buyer the subwoofer probably has to go, but otherwise a nice 2+2:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/ ... 30510.html

And finally a decent project car potentially, with 120K+ done. Pretty clean for an obviously younger person's car (what's with the mis-matched wheels I see everywhere and on everything these days???????) so not too much to remove/replace, and the body and engine bay look to be in great shape:

I just need to point out the fact that it has the original bose tape deck. And the clock works.

However, that oil pressure looks LOW.

Wow, you're right on the oil pressure- I thought they'd just keyed it on but the tach shows it's idling...ouch!
Oh, and my clock still works also... :gotme...but the new waterpump installed with my upgrading and repairs has went the way of so many before it, so the Z is now at Fairlady getting that fixed. So now that's FIVE waterpumps I've had replaced on my two Z's over the course of owning them. :wtf2:

Spitballin' here, but is there a chance that the factory belt tension is too much for the water pump to handle?
(Pulls the water pump shaft too hard and prematurely wears out the bearings and seals?)
If so, then it may be a wise upgrade to go with an electric water pump like the Davies Craig?

I felt much the same until Doug dug into it. Ha ha, Doug dug into it...
Turns out my problem was a failed thermostat housing feed hose (split at end) and crappy kit clamps on both hoses that had worked loose. 4 new quality clamps and a replacement of the hose and pump gaskets fixed the problem for now, unless the w/p unit was also bad/damaged which did not seem the case but I will be watching for.
Fixed now finally as it's been a small issue since I had my work done, here's hoping it's history...

Spring time in the Pacific NW usually means a bunch of new Z32's to drool on, so here we go with The Good:

Pretty tasty NA here, overpriced some but if all service done a very nice car:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/ ... 70732.html

Even more tasty convertible in CRP, with a cream interior. The interior may be the best I've ever seen, and the prettiest. DAMN fine car:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/ ... 76971.html

Overpriced but clean. Also bad info in calling an OBD2, AT TT a 300HP car, but again super clean:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/ ... 86919.html

Aaaaand, the Less Good:

A little FnF style here it seems, and fast and loose with what works and value:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/ ... 80555.html

One look says it all, and the ad confirms...this has been around awhile, go figure:

Spring time? What's that? Today's forecast calls for up to 15" of snow through tomorrow.

I'd buy it just for the window decal.

And it's only $1250!!!!

Hopefully for that price it includes a window scraper.

Just posted, been waiting to see this done to the Z32. NOT for the faint of heart, a nice car with a LOT of investment here but definitely not the norm...are you curious yet?
Enjoy (heh heh), and comment...:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/ ... 27962.html

This has been posted before, TwinZ Z32 in pretty decent condition and style:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/ ... 78973.html

Not a Z32 but a very rare and desirable Z31, 1984 50th anniversary edition in pretty damn good shape for an '84- GREAT project base here:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/ ... 46028.html

And to finish today's luxury tour, just for fun here's a Liberty Walk 2013 GTR with $265K invested, SEMA car in 2016 it says. EVERY high dollar item possible, road tuned and licensed. Who has this kind of $$$$$$ to invest in a car like this???:

It's either a case of more money than brains; or more likely, a lot of donated (or heavily discounted) parts and labor by various manufacturers and shops for the presence, promotion, and mention at SEMA.

But, I think you should buy it anyway ... only if he throws in a Nico lanyard.
