As much as I love the Z32 with 22k I'd be buying an E39 M5 and throwing Twin Turbos or an SC on it and still have money left over for beer and BBQ.

This one has been for sale for months, maybe more than a year but at a price like that its no surprise, but just like the white one its :fap: :fap: :fap: alicious https://houston.craigslist.org/cto/d/19 ... 95027.html

Wow, that is definitely one sweet TT...and yeah it's too much $$$ really but then again it's really hard to find them this nice.
When I was hunting mine down, I almost went for a sapphire TT in Arizona that was at $18K, REALLY nice but probably about $3K too much plus was modded although almost exactly what I have now. I would have had to do some financing which for a used car like a TTZ just wasn't smart in any way, so I stayed within my budget and got the one I have now.
BUT, at times I wonder/wish I had ended up with that near-immaculate sapphire TT...

Finally, a bunch of new Z32's for sale locally.
Here's a nice one, a bit overpriced and modified but I think many/most would approve...I do. Seems like it's the pilots around here that most often have the nicest Z32's:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/ ... 66907.html

Also pretty nice, and only $10!!! Hahaha...why do people do this? If he'd take about $8.5K and you wanted the things he's done as most would I'd assume, a pretty decent car:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/ ... 38615.html

Wow, if this has the problems I think it has then $1,800 is a decent price for a pretty clean project car:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/ ... 58176.html

Another of the rhd imports around here, how about 6,200 miles on your Z32? If the guy drops the price the amount of the few needs it has (antenna and rad) and I was looking, I'd swoop:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/ ... 73390.html

Another rhd jdm, this too expensive for 72K miles and 120K coming up soon but wow, so clean:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/ ... 67294.html

Last, the roughie but it's pearl yellow, 2+0, and if could be had for around $2K and not over 160K miles it's possibly a decent project:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/ ... 86526.html

And, that red Wing Z car with the red/yellow seats isn't listed!!!! Wonder who got that awesome car that will quadruple in value soon, and gets better mileage than a Honda? And mostly, how much they paid for it... :lolling:

More new meat...sort of. I remember this one hanging around for sale awhile ago, surely due to the custom status the current owner alludes to in saying it's not the car for him. IMO the components listed/used often aren't the best, especially long term, so I bet it's inconsistent and hard to get working right. Beautiful car in many ways, but also a warning about going too far:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/ ... 97125.html

Here's an NA with what you want to see when buying a used Z32. The asking price is a tad high for cloth, although finding a Z32 with everything you need is hard so if the owner would take a little less than $6K this may be a good deal:

Yeah, I think it's a multi-hue job as I remember previous shots of it looking kind of copper-ish as well, and other times with an orangish hue. It looked in previous pics like it was a show car in the past, which would help explain why the mods are cheapish and the car may not be completely viable for daily duty, my assumption of the current owners' statement.
Reminds me massively of that old Z that I mentioned awhile back in that thread with the purple customized Z that was cracking all up, old show cars usually don't age well because it's always form before function.

Or any other well-broken-in body part I have and could do without!
Wow, now THAT'S a great car and deal there regardless of that seat cover- just frickin' WOW.
Sure wish this would have appeared when I was buying way back in 2013, screw the TT!

I guess we all have it wrong, exhaust and boost controller apparently nets 150 extra HP

You overlooked two things that enabled the extra 150 hp:

1. Custom Drift Racing Steering Wheel
2. Only synthetic oil has been used.

Each of those adds at least 60 hp to the rear wheels.

Though it doesn't have the steering wheel or the synthetic oil for the extra horsepower, you could have this bumblebee for the same amount of money:

Not quite as stupid as the extra 150 hp, we have "Has new slave cylinder so it drives like brand new." Yeah, that can cure any and all problems. A $20.00 part that requires 30 minutes to install. Such a note worthy item. Makes me think the windshield washer fluid must be full too.

Odd that the owner of such a nice Z32 would feel the need to add this kind of BS. The car should sell itself in that condition and that bad info, even if true, wouldn't help his cause much if at all...so why do it???

Yes, couldn't agree more. No need to embellish your ad with false claims. Just stick to the facts like this guy has done.

"it is one of the best vehicles you'll find for sale"
"has a powerfull 3.0L V6 engine that is known for its reliabilty"
"currently does not run"
"cars I sell are priced low and are priced to sell. Most cars I post sell within 1 week some sell the very same day"

There's absolutely no need to even mention Picture 1 with the fender gap, Pictures 4, 5, and 6 of the bad bondo job on the rockers,Picture 7 with the misaligned fender, Picture 8 with the windshield molding trim painted over in white, Picture 9 with the painted over rust bubbles, Picture 11 more of the same rust painted over and a deflated tire, Picture 13 once again that fender, Pictures 14 and 16 where to even start, Pictures 17 and 18 little light rust on the pulleys is normal, few rattle cans of black paint over the original white, and maybe not enough electrical tape and zip ties. But, I'm just being too picky perhaps. Have to remember "it is one of the best vehicles you'll find for sale."

I'm not done yet. We all like our cars. The beautiful sculpted lines of the body style are impeccable. It would be hard to improve upon. Though a few subtle modifications could enhance the look. Perhaps a small front spliter or a gentle graceful rear wing treatment. Nothing outlandish. Just something to personalize our car yet retain its original lines and graceful beauty. Touches that only a truly zealous owner of the Z32 would notice on a very close inspection. Well, I'd say this guy NAILED IT:

OMFG...and I didn't think that all of the current trends (overfenders, huge wings, crazy drift nerf bars, tasteless styling) could be cobbled together so....horribly!

So-so Z32, A/T kinda ruins things there for the price and with few pics of the car...but that SUPER-clean Celica there, now THAT'S a nice car! Had two of them (coupe and fastback) in my younger years and I really really liked driving them, not to mention how cheaply they can be operated and repaired.

First take wasn't so impressive given the mis-matched wheels and paint, but a read of the ad changed things as this guy has kept great care of the car and it's pretty damn clean where it counts. For this price and a few $$$ more for looks stuff you get a really good Z32:
