Craaazy Pinging! Aaargh!!

hello, i have a 1995 240sx se with about 85k and i i bought it about 5 months ago. when i first got it, the pinging was slight, now its getting louder!! and i have only been using 91 octane here in the bay area cali from either 76 or arco or chevron!! what could be the problem??

also, should i try octane booster?? and if so which one??

If you are sure it is pinging, check the distributor. Make sure it is advancing the timing as it should and retarding it when it should.
