Coolant system/hose question

Just finished my first under plenum job. Did everything even o2 sensors spark plugs hoses etc etc. I have a coolant leak towards the back of the motor.



The area in red is where its leaking.

The orange is the only place I havent checked... is there any other hoses back there that have coolant in them that could leak?

Yes both of those hoses in orange carry coolant. One feeds the heater core and one is the return.



Check these. The main cross over tube in Blue looks like it was really corroded, maybe its leaking on the underside if you didn't replace it or maybe the aluminum is too pitted to seal well now. Also check both of the smaller hoses that lead to the TB.


There's also the hard connection at the front(in green) but if you didn't remove it I doubt it would have sprung a leak.

The orange hose lines point to the heater hose connections.

When putting mine back together, I ran temporary (long) hose from the crossover through the throttle body, then connected back to the tube off of the heater hose pipe. Once I had the system closed, I used a pressure testing pump to check the system for leaks before reinstalling the plenum.

Sorry that pic was someone elses car I replaced the y pipe hoses... actually all of them...except the heater hose

SO everythign we have pointed out is what carries coolant there is nothing else back there hidden right?
