Hello,

I have a coolant leak and traced it back to this hose from a pressure test.

Does anyone know what these hoses are called and where one can buy them?

I apologize if the URL images do not work. they are located on the back side of the engine by the firewall and under the plenum.

I think they are called ancillary hoses? But obviously not 100% sure.

Since the plenum is off, we figured it would be best to replace all hoses. I bought a complete set of heater core and radiator hoses from Samco Sport but cannot find any that replaces the above mentioned.

Ideally, these are the hoses i'm looking for, for a complete replacement:

Also, I bought an OEM water pump but they did not have any gaskets. Tried searching online but unable to locate them :(.

Any and all help is much appreciated.
Thank you very much!

You can get a complete hose kit from the AU guys. I've actually been waiting to buy that same kit. I've found it in multiple places down under. If you don't want to order from overseas or can't wait, just remove the hoses and start hitting up the parts stores. They're pretty cool and will let you just go into the hose section in the back and you pick and choose until you find ones that will work for you. For the water pump I just used grey RTV and haven't had any issues. I've used it on multiple pumps and haven't had a single failure.

I wouldn't mind waiting for the kit if I can locate them (no luck yet). I'll look into modifying generic hoses if it comes to that :]. My mechanic was adamant that the water pump had a gasket that he took off. Everywhere folks seem to have suggested RTV. He was saying because the slots do not go around the bolts, that it may not stick well and will end up leaking (http://s298.photobucket.com/user/john_t ... o.jpg.html). Thank you for your suggestions.

If there is one thing I have learned I my year of Skyline ownership, it is replace everthing that is rubber. Hoses, seals, belts are all trash on these cars from age. Buy the complete kit and do it all at once. Everytime I replaced a small hose, a new one popped up a month later. Now I have all silicone hoses and have been leak free for 6 months.

The Samco coolant hose kit doesn't have everything FYI, so my car is a combo of Samco and new OEM hoses, ha ha. Once I'm finished with my water pump (and timing belt) job, I'm hoping to be leak free myself!
