i have a bone stock 2002 nissan maxima with 148000 with auto climate control. My problem is i have a leak coming from the fire wall and it is not the hoses and the heat works great and there is no puddle on the passenger side floor. There is a sheild that covers the hard brake lines right behind that and a little above it is a circle object that i can see water/coolant drip out of and it is coming out of there can anyone tell me what this means do i need a new heater core or something i would take pictures but its way to dark to even see anything on the fire wall.
Thanks
Jeff H

The best way to find out is let that "water" leak. If you notice the coolant reservoir gets low, then it's your coolant. Otherwise, it could just be evaporated water or condensation. It happens.... a lot lol
