well jsut got done puttin my timing belt back on and took the car out, when i got back coolant is leaking from under the intake manifold somewhere. Im not really sure where its at under there, but should i jsut take off the whole intake manifold to try to find it or is there a better way to go about this. thanks

take off the intake manifold support bracket and loo around. you can easily see whats going on from there, or under the car as well.

there are about 4 3/8" hoses, 1 1/4" hose, and some other small hoses back there so it could be almost anything. The hose that leaked most frequently for me was a 3/8" hose that was located right between the top of the starter and the block. That was always a pain to change

Yeah it sucks you're basicaly gonna have to get it leaking and look w/ support bracket off to find it

Clean it all up, get it to start leaking and watch.

I had the hose to/from (forget which) the heater go on me, I was on the highway and heard a hissing sound and before I could get to an exit (no emergency lanes where i was) to find out wtf it was, it goes from hissing to PSSSHHH steam from under the hood, luckily I had just reached a part where there was emergency lane and cut the engine and pulled over.. I lost nearly all the coolant, basically it was spraying out until it lost enough pressure to boil, it was a small crack in the hose that burst.

I thought I was goingto have to warm it up to find it but as soon as I put water in it was obvious, it was leaking so bad after it completely let go

well if its leaking from the heater hoses those are easy to change without unbolting anything. If its leaking from the throttle body hoses those are pretty easy to change, you may have to remove the water neck and stuff but thats no big deal. I dunno what the ones without an oil cooler have but mine has the oil cooler and that damn line that runs the lenght of the intake manifold sure is hard to get to even with the support brackets off.
