Converting a KA24E head to a KA24DE can it be done? would there any advantage?

I may have to change the head on my 92 Axxess KA24E. Would there be any advantage to converting to a KA24DE head (providing it would fit in the space). Is there more to this like Pistons, injectors, and such which have to be considered.ThanksIm new to this please humor me.smokeless1

stick to SOHC, less moven' parts. Not worth the coast
