Hi all,

I'm new here, just registered. Right now, I'm looking at a '91 240 5spd 118k with leather interior, new exhaust, tires, tint, and new timing. The guy selling it is asking a firm $2900. Do you think it's a good deal or a bit high? It's a nice car, good clutch, interior and exterior. Thanks.

Id say that's a pretty decent price. I've been looking at S13s for a while now, and that's pretty good, ASSUMING everything else works perfectly, and there is no rust or anything like that. Id still say you could talk him down a couple hundred bucks from there, but decent deal either way.

There is no rust, just a few minor dings. I thought it seemed a bit high because it blue books at ~$2500 I think.

That sounds almost as this one guy at this dealer place selling a 93 240sx se for $2990...if only he go down on that car b/c it has alot of miles, i think up around 160k something range. If he go down I might consider but so far I'm debating lol

I've talked to a few on aim and was told stay away from the car but I like the car alot hehehe

Haggle your way with to see if he will go down to the book value for that. Sounds pretty good car though, to me.

I just bought my 91 240 for 3000. 5 Speed, Leather, sunroof, great condition, 92000 miles. I thought the price was about right.

That's a good deal caddy. I think this one I'm looking at is a better deal because of new timing chain, that's a pretty expensive repair and they usually go out 'round 100k i thought

depends i hear. I've heard of some with 140,000 miles and riding fine on the original. Then again others at 40,000 and begging for a new one.

I bought a 92 240SX SE for 2k with 160,00 on the body but like 90,000 on the engien. The engien was swag and is 93. Ther eno problem with it. It had new clutch. I had it put in like $400 for a tune up, water pump and new fan.
