Im looking for a ac compressor for my z24i!! What other truck or car run the same compressor? Im pretty sure 86.5-93 use R-12 and 94-97 use R-134a!! Also i think the V6 and I4 compressor are interchangable using different brackets...but are there any other vehicles like 240sx, altima, sentra runing the same compressor? Ive done research and know that you can retrofit a r-12 system to use r-134 by changing oil and the service fittings so it doesnt matter if the compressor is for r-12 or r-134!! Any input is appreciated!! :)

I think Nissan switched the D21 over to R134a before 1993. For you Z24i you might have luck looking at some older 720 models with A/C. Those would have R12 and would need to be retrofitted to R134a. Take a look at the KA powered Stanza from that time period, the bracket and compressor might work for your application but this is merely an educated guess.
