Which MAFs are compatible with the 95 J30?I need one and have saw MAFs listed in several different ways.I have seen them listed for the J30 as -"93-97", "93-95" and "96-97".I have also seen N60 and N62 listed for the J30.It seems like more and more of us J30 guys are needing replacement MAFs, so could we make a sticky about exactly which MAFs are compatible with the different years of J30s.Thanks to everyone in advance for your help.

EDIT: I did do several searches but could not find exactly which MAFs were compatible and which wasn't. There was a little info in this post and a little in that post, with some of the info seeming to conflict with other info.

J30 MAF fail in the same ways as Q45 MAF. Years of heat/cold cycling crystalize the solder joints where the wires come on and off the internal circuit board making the output voltage sensitive to under hood temperature and vibration.

Repair the solder joints [by a careful ELECTRONIC technican with the proper tiny tools] and knowledge ------ won't be found at a dealership usually.

Clean and replace external connectors [corrosion] and clean MAF element with proper spray cleaner.

I went to Advanced and bought some MAF cleaner and some Electrical Contact cleaner. I cleaned the MAF and the plug on the MAF. Throttle response seemed better but it is still stalling out the same way that it was before the cleaning.I called around and could not find anyone who was willing to try to resolder the connections for me. (I live in rural Alabama and the response I got was like this, "Naw, we on't work on no cars".If I were to find someone around here who would try to fix the solder joints for me, I would still like to have a back-up.Can someone please list with MAFs go with the 95 j30?

Thanks Gerardjg for the feedback. Now I understand that I have to have a N62. With my weak brain and a few post that I had read and the way some people had listed their MAFs on Ebay had caused some confusion as to what would work on a 95. It's just my luck that the MAF that I need would be the one that is most popular for swaps and upgrades.

I went to a Pull-A-Part this weekend and it was enough to make a NICO member cry. There were 3 first gen q45, 1 J30, 1 i30,about 8 D21 trucks, 1 92 300, 7 84-87 300s, countess 240's, 24 85-94 Maxima's. Most had been picked over pretty well (head&tail lights, & interior), but what got me was that there were only 2 or 3 cars that had been involved in a wreck. For instance, of the 3 Qs only 1 had a dent in the rear passenger door, all of the other body panels were straight on all 3 cars. If their other locations are like the B'ham one it could be a good place for body panels for those in need.
