I don't know what you're referring to but that s30 has stock bumpers on it....

every "stock" bumper i find has the holes for the side pieces that bolt on. and that one doesnt... plus it looks like it fits tighter to the body than the one on my 240

here's mine and it sits further outward and has the ugly rubber padding on it (i know its kinda hard to tell from this picture but i'm at work and its the only one i can show from here)

Looks like the Japanese market ones. Personally, I say weld up the holes in your bumper and have it chromed.

you can weld holes shut and have the bumper rechromed, as a local bud did or you if you don't ned ro want chrome can buy the fiberglass version and paint it whatever color you like

ok after doing some research i found that since mine in a 73 is has that fugly protruding bumper. for me to have a low profile one like those i need a 70-72. still needing to do research on if the JDM ones had no holes or not. anyone know where to find them for a low price? a new one is 600-1000 depending where you find it an refurbished ones are going for close to 400.

many of the early cars got the override bard (thats what the holes are for), I suspect it would cost less to section asmoothe and rechrome your bumper, with fabbed mounts, the early style mounts are basically just an "L" bracket, and while nto a direct fit to the series 2 chassis it's nto hard to maodify or create your own fomr scratch, just remember, these things offer NO impact protection

my bumper has some gauges in on top so i think it would be alot of work to get it nice again. i understand it doesnt offer any protection but its either that or a CF msa one and and as much as i like the msa one i plan to remake darius' car before he widebodied it (only w/ a ls2 turbo instead of a procharged 383 lt1)

IIRC....Those bumpers are european style (no rub strips). I actually bought mine from nissan a couple years ago and it was that style. However they are NLA so welding and rechroming is your only option. EXPENSIVE.
