ok, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2088003 http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2088003, check out the carthe exterior is that midnight metallic purple color

the engine bay (and inside the trunk until/unless i do up the trunk...... unlikely unless im going to put it in a show)

help me choose a color for teh engine bay

it started out white, like teh exterior of the donor USDM shell

i have it primered in metallic grey (the metalcast paint series)

i havnt enameled it yet tho...

the interior is going to be black with light grey accents

the engine (and valve covers, and timing belt cover) are all going to be candy gold

and i might be doing all the engine brackets in candy purple (have the transmission mounts done sofar, going to see how it looks together before doing the rest)

the vacuum hoses will be yellow, and all the rubber hoses will be replaced with braided stainless (thats oil, coolant, and fuel .. all)

im thinking that with all the colors (yellow, silver, black, purple) that will be in the engine bay, classic basic back might be my best bet... to make the engine stand out, and provide contrast for all the nice parts

i am going to be doing the enamel over this long holiday, so i need suggestions if im going to change the color first

what do you think

When you make a poll, your sig dissapears, so you'll need to edit the post and give us a link to the car.

From what I'm hearing though, I think basic black is going to be the best contrast.
