cold start issues

when i try to start my car cold i have to crank it forever and when it starts to pop i have to shut they key on and off to get it to pop, i have replaced the plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter and played with the timing nothing seems to be working, after a long time (usially jumping the car cause the battery went dead) it will start but not rev till it has warmed up once it is warm it starts fine.any help is appreciated

check ther coolant temperature sensor its between the intake manifild and head.

i tried the temp sensor and the fpr it was neitherany other suggestions
