I haved been having serious problems car runs awesome until 10 minutes after reaches operating temp then stops. I can crank and crank engine over and nothing. Wait for an hour or two and then it will start and do the same thing over again. I replaced ptu coil packs and plugs. I wasnt getting any engine light on so I didnt check the ecu till today. I noticed it was in diagnostic mode so I guess that is why the engine light wasn't on. I had an extra ecu so I replaced it and I turned key to on position turned pot on ecu tottally clockwise waited 2 seconds tghen turnned it tottally counter clockwise I gott 2 flasshes then pause then 4 slow flashes and 2 fast flashes. what do the firstr to flashes mean? was that indicating that its in diagnostic mode? or is that code 11 CAS circuit? what do I do now please help.

That would be 24 and code 24 does not exist.

Run through this exercise and try again to see which code it is.

Running until warm and dying is typical of a bad PTU.Is yours the old silver finned type or the newer black flat style?

I have replaced the ptu twice thinking it was the problem and it still does not fix it. I will run codes again and let you know what happens.
