Code 13... a little help guys

Finishing up the engine work on my Z...finally...complete rebuild (a local mechanic did the internals).. new injectors, belts, hose, etc. The last thing that i got to was a CODE 13... which should be the CTS correct?... only thing is, i replaced the sensor and no luck. I can get resistance to build inside it with the connector cap on it (meter with it off)...so the wiring should be good (i metered the cap with the car on as well, but i can't remember the volts). The only thing that is strange is the CEL ISNT on... which it should be... right? I was working on fixing it...went and drove it...and BAM blew the fuel hose to my new fuel filter...so i haven't worked on it sense....looking for some help

Also....the fuel filter was smaller than the orig. (which had been on there for 172000 miles BTW (previous owner was stupid))... it cam from Napa and is the one for my car....will the smaller diameter cause a problem?

if you ahve code 13 you have abad sneder, conector or wiring, and when you say you replaced it you replaced the one wiht 2 wires right? the sender si the one wire unit next to it that feeds the gauge, the 2 wire is the sensor that goes to the ecu, thats the one you need to look at

the fuel filter won't cause you to shoot codes but it'll cause your fuel lines to come off
