Code 12 is being thrown

My car is throwing a code 12 (MAF). My car will occasionally stall out when I press the clutch in or if I am in neutral. It will also stall out if I unplug the MAF sensor. I heard that its supposed to run on limp mode even if the MAF is unplugged.

check the plug and wires for corosion. get MAF cleaner, clean the maf sensor. MAF cleaner is highly purified water getting any other kind of solvent on the sensor will kill it. if this fails, replace the MAF.

Might be two issues. stalling when you press the clutch is likely the iacv, take it off, clean it up and put it back on. the mif might also need cleaned or might be bad but start by unplugging and replugging it
