Ok so when I was about to park my car for the winter last year the clutch was slipping(basicly when it hits 3500 rpms it just revs up to redline) in 3rd, 4th, 5th gear but then when I took it out in the spring the clutch did not slip any more. Then I got the cats out and a week later it started slipping in 4th and 5th(this was mid summer). Then 3rd gear went and finally 2nd and 1st. I was forced to drive it this winter because my wife totalled my eclipse. All winter I could not go above about 3,300 rpms. Well it has been warming up and yesterday it was almost 60 degrees out. I got on my car a bit and it didn't slip. I tried again and was able to take it up to 5,500 rpms without it slipping. I have not been out to check 3rd gear yet but it is just real odd because I havent got it to hold in months. I am still planning on having the clutch replaced here real soon but is it the cold that is making it act like this or just some kind of freak deal?
