Here's my problem...about a month or two ago, I was driving home late at night...I was slowing down to pull into my subdivision, when I got close I dropped it into 2, as soon as it went into 2...it just popped right back out and all pressure to the clutch was gone, it just sat on the floor. I coasted to a stop. Got out check for leaks, which there were none, well none I could see...got back in the car, lifted the pedal, pumped it a couple of times...probably about 10 mins later the pressure returned and drove off...

Now, I have the problem of grinding when I'm taking off in 1st through 2nd...it gets smoother when I get to 3rd and so on...I figure it's just slipping and I might need a new clutch...

Any suggestions or thoughts?

I would check the clutch and the slave. Check on the wear on the disk and the flywheel. Also, check the fluid level on the slave cylinder.
