so after driving around for a few mins, when im at idle and in nuteral, there will be a clack clack clack, coming from the clutch area, ( isolated to this by way of depressing clutch and it goes away) my friends R32 doesnt do this but i know its probably a differnt style clutch and set up as its a RB, but our cars share the same trans, so i assume same basic setup. what could this be? it also grinds gears when shifting at higher rpms and trying to grab a new gear in a hurry. trans has gl5 75w-90 in it thats only a year old, but its also been 85+ for the last few weeks, any ideas

Throw out bearing? Input shaft bearing maybe. Cracked spring in clutch plate hub. Debri in there isn't very likely. The quickest way to know is to drop the transmission and inspect the clutch setup. Might as well replace the thing while you're in there. I don't see how you could fix the issue without dropping the transmission. I've been wrong before though.
