So last night driving home the car crapped out on me, here is a small detail to what happened.

As driving down the freeway my clutch pedal magically stuck to the floor on its own, with no pressure pushing it back out. As I came off the freeway, I pulled the clutch pedal back towards me and when I tried to push the clutch in again the feel was very sticky and gritty, as if I couldn't make a smooth motion at all.

You could tell something was sticking as when I tired to drop the clutch it killed once because the clutch did not engage after the gas was pressed (engaged late), as well as lunged forward since the clutch dropped once unexpectedly after trying to re-compensate for prior problem by using slightly more gas.

After trying to shift to second going down the road, again the clutch pedal had no "back pressure" and just stuck to the firewall and hung-out there. After repeatedly trying to pull the pedal back and re-disengage and engage the clutch, nothing happened and the car is in a perpetual state of neutral.

So first instinct says it's a throwout bearing or something is wrong within the master/slave cylinders or the lines. None of the lines look damaged at all so I'm still dumb struck. Anyone have an idea about what is actually causing the problem?

Check the slave. I'm willing to bet that it's good.

Yeah the slave looked really healthy. No cracked boot nothing looked wrong. Just got a new MC installed and working on a new slave and cutting out the dampener as we speak. wish me luck =/

So got everything bolted up and bled... Pedal pressure was MUCH harder than before (probably half because of the no longer existent dampener) and started to take it out for a spin... well guess what, pedal pressure dies again.

So tear it apart this morning. Slave looks like the pin is super angled and causing the piston to slide out of the housing. So I Take it off. Then here is the NEW source of the problem... The Clutch withdrawl lever is just kinda hanging out there, dangling only by the help of the dustboot. Looks like the holder spring popped off. Nice.

Well had to replace the clutch sooner or later :
