Heres the story- I had to replace the clutch master cylinder and slave on my 260z. for some reason even with the new parts, it seems the clutch doesn't disengage when depressing the pedal all the way in- I even threaded the adjustment on the master cylinder piston rod all the way out. The clutch fork does move, but seemingly not enough...

Anyone even have this problem, or a fix for it? I was considering cutting the rod, and welding an extra section in to lengthen it, but I really don't want to since I have no Idea what metal its made out of...

I looked at it again today, and it seems theres alot of slop where the pushrod clevis connects to the clutch pedal Itself. The hole itself is over sized... It also seems the pushrod is also shorter than the factory one...

lol, a bud had the same issue, I welded his hole shut (which kinda sounds funny) actually I was able to just weld up the worn area then cleaned it up wiht a die grinder, andthe pushrd lenght isn't terribbly important so long as it's long enough but no so long as to be too long, worst case you can just swap the stock ppushrod back in

after disassemling the other aftermarket clutch master cylinder it becomes apparent that the push rod is about an inch shorter than the original piece (thank goodness I saved the original)... problem solved

well I hope you fixed the pedal first, otherwise this is likely to become an issue again later
