after a frustrating week with 2 nissan dealerships finally got an opinion on what the problem was......

everytime i leave my parking spot after it being parked there for an extended period of time after about 20 or so feet after leaving my parking stall a noticeable clunk sound comes from under my hood and i can feel it in my gas pedal...

-temperature doesn't matter (i park it in an underground garage at room temperature and then park it outside at work in sub zero temperatures)-i am not accelerating or braking so quick movement of the vehicle in any direction doesn't cause the sound as i am maintaining about 10-20 km/h...parking lot speeds-clutch is fully out and am in first gear

the technician after separate days decided that it is the vaccum engine mounts that after time need to change the pressure and so that is what is making the noise...any thoughts as to if this is accurate or if this guy is just blowing smoke up my back side???

Could just be me, but I've never heard of a vacuum engine mount...

When I back out of a parking spot, sometimes, within 10 - 15 feet while turning I get a similar noise/clunk. Last time I got a noise like this on my last car it was a broken sway bar link...

would it only make the noise once until you parked it again?

when i took it into nissan on monday they put 4km's on it even after i said if it doesn't make the noise within the first 20-30 feet it won't be making the noise at all

this diagnostic was done at a nissan dealership that i didn't buy my car at and the guys that work there aren't really that great so might take the maintenance sheet to my dealership that i bought my car from and see what they think if i'm way out in left field or something...

complained A MILLION TIMES ABOUT HTIS PROBLEM ALREADY

the answer is... ABS ****EN PROBLEM

cause nissan doesnt know how to design ABS, and the ABS does a self test after u 10-20 feet motion (if u parked for a certain amount of time)

NISSAN SUCKS AT ABS and NOISE luxury, live with it, and ul grow to ignore that gay "clunk" sometimes the clunk sounds like a "spring" sound too... wat can i do? nissan says its normal and its not a problem

yea i took my car in monday and again on wednesday they said the first time that it was that abs self tester however if your foot is on the gas pedal you should feel a bit of feedback from that noise in that pedal...which would indicate it isn't anything with the brake system..if you are feeling it in the brake pedal then would make a bit more sense but ya...when i get home will type up exactly what these clowns said about it

i am going to do a bit more digging cause if it is something that over time is gonna break down cause some goof just said the problem is the first thing that he could think of without actually looking into it then i'm gonna be out of a car for awhile and either have to get rides or get some crappy rental
