I just got my Versa a week 1/2 ago and noticed this twice now when coming out of the parking garage from work. I have to turn left to go around the corner from floor to floor. It reminds me of putting a playing card on the spoke of a bike tire. I only notice it when I'm in the parking garage because of the accoustics, has anyone else experienced anything like that? It's only got 500 miles on it, what could it be?

I forgot to mention that my problem is a clicking sound that happens through the turn and then once the wheel is straightened the clicking stops. It's not a thud or a clunk, it's a click, click, click...

You might have a well wheel cover that is loose and its hitting the tire when it is turned. You may want to look up in the front wheel wells and see if one of them is loose. Also, if you can and it is clicking, try putting the car in reverse and see if the sound is still there and or if the sound changes. Just a suggestion.

I just read my reply. Make sure you stop the car first before you put it in reverse! What a mess that would be!

If not what blockmachining said, it also sounds like a possible bad CV joint.

Make sure the turn signal indicator is off

Ha Ha, Different clicking than the turn signal. I have to stop at the bottom of each ramp and the clicking starts slow and then gets faster as the car accelerates around the turn.

Figured . . . hence the goofy smilie. Just trying to insert a little levity. Failing badly, obviously.
