Cigarette lighter USB Conversion

Hi everyone! I am tired of using these little crappy adapters for my zx to charge my phone. I was wondering if there are any good conversion kits or if anyone could recommend on how to swap it out correctly. Thanks for your time.

There are some on Amazon. I put one in the glove comp. Used the power for the clock
Green wire hot when ignition is on, yellow wire hot always, black ground.keeps all those wires hidden. Clock didn't work anyway.

Another easy power wire would be to the stereo head unit, but I agree ^^^ just about anything on amazon or ebay will work. I wen't down to my local O'rielly Auto Parts (you could go to NAPA, or Autozone, or wherever) and got a toggle switch, the USB port, the wiring (with terminals) all for like $12. Many hardware stores sell the same things. It takes a little creativity, but you can make just about anything work. I like to put mine in the center elbow rest console. Then I can let my phone charge while I'm in a store or whatever and not worry about someone trying to steal it.

Took a picture at my local Menard's (Hardware store). $10 will get you one of 4 options. Some have multiple USB ports and multiple cigarette plugs.

Just has a power and a ground. Put the power wire with the radio power so it has key-on-only power. Ground wire to a shiny bolt. The end lol. Run the wires to your elbow box.
