cigarette lighter outlet problem

Hi,

None of 3 cigarette power outlets works in my Murano 2005. I checked the inside fuse box (under steering wheel) and the fuse seems to be fine. I know there is another fuse box under the hood but I don't know which of the fuses I should check/replace (if any ?). Can some one please tell me what should I do/check next?

i dont have a wiring digram in front of me right now but i do recall that not all three outlets work on one fuse. the rear outlet should have a seperate fuse. i would try replacingthe fuses with new ones and with the fuse out use a test light to see if power is supplied to the fuse. if power is not there the "IPDM" or one of its fuses may be bad. normally its just a bad fuse under the dash.

Thanks for the info. I tried the front, rear and middle outlet - all three are dead. I haven't try to see if the power is being supplied to the fuse and will do it tomorrow. What's the "IPDM"? (are you referring to the fuse(s) box that's located under the hood?

also, do you know where I can find the electrical diagram for Murano 2005? I tried searching on web but didn't have much luck.
