Josh from York, Pa. Car is a 92, picked it up for $500, its sitting on K-Sports, the engine has a rod thrown (2nd one back from front, dont know the "orders" of the chambers on these cars, as if it goes from front to back).

Got another engine the other weekend, broke a head bolt in putting a gasket on, and another holes threads started ripping (I could hear it). Im confused as to why, I did the torqueing in steps, 25 to 60, then loosened all the way and then 50 and final 80 and thats when stuff started going wrong... I have ARP studs on the way and when they arrive, Im heading out to get helicoil inserts to fix my screw ups. It came across to me that possibly my torque wrench is screwed up? Is the threads ripping out common? What should I torque it down to?

Anyhow, the pics.

Thats kinda mean guys, he is my friend but yeah they arent hooked up and honestly ask him about them his handle on tihs site is "Kamo" and more than once we switch off handles when were using nico as a database when working on our cars.

I really like the 180sx corners but the money for looks? eh I feel more compelled to spend my money on getting the car running like its bullet proof, I got the clears thrown in with another order so I didnt complain and it helps me find my car when im in newbury park as I seem to run into a million s13's that are totally stock outside like mine used to be.Im so happy with my car that I try to avoid putting pics of it up or letting very judgmental people get their 2 cents in because honestly if its one thing I dont want or need is peoples rude opinions on MY car.mechanical advice and opinion is greatly appreciated so I can learn something.

1. If you don't want people to dis your friend's pignose, perhaps you could try to avoid posting pictures of it on the chuki crew thread?

first off ka-t t25 370cc q-tune ecu and hks intercooler and hks bov. still rebuilding. too many things happened in the last few months so i was a little delayed.

the head was warped badly so it got rebuilt and shaved and decked and other crap for .......sshhhhhh... 200 ha. but cant wait to put it back together to feel what it does.

Already did! Also painted. I glass beaded the manifold also and put that high temp paint on it but I hear it sometimes bakes off and doesnt last long, I decided it has to look better than rust...

ARP head studs arrived, waiting on a new head gasket. Then i need to drill out at least 2 of the holes in the block and helicoil them since 1 bolt snapped in one and threads were popping in another.

I also got a F1 Sage 2 clutch and racing flywheel (off e-bay). Decided to give them a try, if it doesnt last long I can always upgrade. Just need them to last at least 7 months.

Dude I have been asking for help in other forums like the past few weeks, my car went from spark plugs bad to injectors and now im without a running chuki waiting for injectors.the only picture I had included his car also, and im just being nice defending his pig because hes my buddy.Were changing his brake booster today along with brake pads whenever he shows up to my house and starts pullin his pig apart.but yeah those fogs aint even hooked up, His girlfriend told me once his car looks like goofy with the fogs in the front.
