Chirp ?? Why

Had our Versa for a month now. The wife took it to work today, and also once last week.

She told me that when her and a co-worker were going to go look at the car, it chirped at them.

We did not purchase the security for it.

This was just walking up to it, not getting in, not locking, nada....

Any clue?

if you unlock your car and not get in it or do anything to hit but hit the unlock on your key... it will auto lock the car back up for you... thats what the "chirp" probley was when they walked up to it...

We'll have to pay closer attention to what we do when it does chirp. Didn't think she unlocked the doors, then let it sit there, but maybe....
